This, ladies and gentlemen, is my first post on my domain. It’s been a long time coming. Why?

I admit, I was indecisive about where this blog was going to be focused, because like any other human being, there are so many different sides to me. I am not defined by my gender, or my job, or my status as a college graduate. My thoughts and actions define me. And yet, it is my thought that leads me to want a focus for this blog, because unfocused anything would be ineffective. I waffled over whether this blog would be personal or professional, about social media, or societal and family relations, would it be about my excursions in the public relations industry or my time as a grad student?  Finally, I decided. The time for action (as always) is now.

This blog was always going to be about me. However, I decided I will only limit myself with good manners - you won’t hear about the torrid details of my life here. I’m not going to swear, I’m trying to cut down on that anyways. However, you will get to know me, in a way, and hopefully it will lead you to allow me to get to know you.
